Paris resident facing charges after motor vehicle collision

Brant OPPParis resident facing charges after motor vehicle collision

A Paris resident is facing charges following a motor vehicle collision in Brant County.

A member of the Brant Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision involving three vehicles on Grand River Street North in the County of Brant at approximately 10:44 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024.

Upon speaking to one of the drivers of the vehicles, the officer administered a roadside Approved Screening Device (ASD) test. The driver was transported to detachment for further testing.

Wyatt PAKULA, 26-years-old of Paris, has been charged with the following:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
  • Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand.

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on February 2nd, 2024.
