Brant OPPParis man facing multiple charges after road rage incident

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to attend an address on Whitlaw Way in Paris regarding a suspect vehicle involved in a road rage incident at approximately 8:04 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

Upon arriving at the address, Brant County OPP watched as the suspect vehicle reversed into a residential driveway. Officers spoke to the male driver and informed him the reason why they were speaking to him. It was during the conversation that Brant County OPP could smell the odour of alcohol emanating from the breath of the driver. Police administered a roadside screening device test which resulted in a “fail”.

Following a police investigation, the 35-year-old male of Paris, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford. The vehicle was impounded for seven days and the drivers licence was suspended for 90 days.
