Paris and District Chamber of Commerce to host job fair

The Paris & District Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with St. Leonard’s Community Services and the County of Brant, is hosting a free job fair on May 12, 2022.

The pandemic has put a strain on many industries and businesses. Seeing a urgent need for workers, the Paris & District Chamber of Commerce is providing an opportunity for businesses to connect with local, general labour job seekers. It is free of charge, for both employers and job seekers.

Limited spaces remain for local employers to reserve a table for recruiting. Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume, and be prepared for on site interviews. Opportunities are available for part and full time, as well as seasonal and student jobs. Some of the available jobs include hospitality, retail, customer service, logistics and warehousing, food service, administration, sales, and general manufacturing.

The County of Brant is providing free shuttle service from the Brantford Transit Bus terminal, and pre-registration for transportation is required before May 10 at www.ParisCOC.ca Shuttle service does include an accessible vehicle, upon request. The event will be following all governmental recommendations and guidelines in place at the time regarding COVID-19 safety. Hand sanitizer will be provided and masks will be available.
