Oshkewen man charged with Impaired Operation

CrimeOshkewen man charged with Impaired Operation
On Saturday, November 6, 2021, at approximately 6:45 a.m., the Brantford Police Service received a call from an employee of a restaurant located at Icomm Drive to advise of a possible impaired driver.
Officers attended and located the accused, asleep at the wheel of his vehicle. The vehicle was running and parked at the speaker in the drive thru.
Officers woke the accused and observed signs of intoxication. The accused was placed under arrest for Impaired Operation and provided two samples of his breath as required by law. Both samples were in excess of the legal limit.
As a result of this investigation, a 27-year-old male of Oshkewen stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations:
  • Impaired Operation
  • 80 plus

Additionally, a licence suspension was issued, and the vehicle impounded as per law.
