OPP search property in Six Nations of the Grand River

Local NewsOPP search property in Six Nations of the Grand River

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) concluded the planned search at a property on 1st Line on Six Nations of the Grand River territory on Tuesday, March 19, 2023.

The search was conducted with assistance from the OPP Emergency Response Team as part of the Amber Ellis missing person investigation. 

No human remains were found at the search location. The owners and tenants of the property are not considered persons of interest in this investigation.

The OPP wish to thank the Six Nations Police Service for their assistance with this investigation.

No additional information regarding the details or outcome of the search will be provided, as this remains an ongoing and active investigation.
