OPP charged Impaired Driver after traffic complaint

Brant OPPOPP charged Impaired Driver after traffic complaint

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint at an event on Willow Lake Road in Brant County at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

Upon arrival, officers located an individual matching the description provided by the complainant. As a result of the investigation, one person was taken into custody.

Sarah HOUGH, 38-years-old, from Hamilton, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Dangerous Operation
  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on July 24, 2025, to answer to the charges.
