CrimeOPP charge Brantford man after Break and Enter

The Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged an individual following a break and enter at a business in Cainsville.

Brant County OPP received a report of a suspicious person pushing a shopping cart filled with scrap metal along Colborne Street East near Blossom Avenue at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Officers attended the area and located evidence of a break and enter at a business on Colborne Street East. Further investigation led officers to a suspect in Brantford, where they were found in possession of stolen property and break-in instruments.

As a result of the investigation, Jason WHITE, 39 years old, of Brantford, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Break and Enter
  • Mischief Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of Break-In Instruments

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on April 11, 2025.
