OPP charge 19-year-old with Impaired Driving

Brant OPPOPP charge 19-year-old with Impaired Driving

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Shellard Lane in the County of Brant, at approximately 10:12pm, on December 20, 2022.

While interacting with a vehicle that entered the program, officers observed the driver to be displaying signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Burlington OPP detachment for testing.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged Pedro Jose Carlos MUNIZ, 19 years-of-age from the City of Brantford with the following offence:

  • Operation While Impaired – alcohol and drugs.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
