Brant OPPOne person killed after two-vehicle collision on Muir Line

A two-vehicle crash has claimed the life of one person and has sent one other to hospital with injuries.

the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant Detachment, Fire Services and Emergency Medical Services responded to the collision involving two vehicles on Muir Line at approximately 1:36 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

It has been determined that two vehicles collided while travelling along Muir Line. The driver of the first vehicle was transported to hospital with undetermined injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, a 26-year-old from Norfolk County, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.

West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team is assisting with the investigation and is asking anyone who was travelling on Muir Line and witnessed the collision – or has any relevant information – to contact the County of Brant OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Muir Line between Eighth Concession and Ninth Concession was closed for next several hours while police investigated the incident.
