OJHL All-Star festivities postponed

HockeyOJHL All-Star festivities postponed

The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) has put their 2022 All-Star Celebrations on hold amid rising COVID-19 cases in the province.

The Junior A league announced the decision to postpone the event in a statement on their website on December 23.

“No new dates for the event have been set,” the statement said. “Organizers are working to find suitable dates that can work in the future.”

The festivities were originally scheduled for January 14 and 15 at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena in Collingwood.

The two-day All-Star Celebration included both an alumni and prospect game, a skills competition and an All-Star game televised nationally on CHCH, featuring the best players from the league’s 21 teams.
