London man charged with Operation while Impaired

Officers with the Brantford Police Service received a call from a concerned citizen to advise of a possible impaired driver travelling on Dalhousie Street  at approximately 1:45 p.m. on January 31, 2022.
Officers attended and located the suspect vehicle parked on Dalhousie Street.  When speaking with the driver, officers observed signs of impairment.  The accused was arrested for Operation while Impaired by Drug. 
 The accused was submitted to a Drug Recognition Expert Examination, as required by law, and was found to be impaired.
 
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old male from London, stands charged with Operation while Impaired by Drug contrary to the Criminal Code. 
 
Additionally, a license suspension was issued, and the vehicle impounded as per law.
