Kitchener resident facing Impaired Operation charges

Brant OPPKitchener resident facing Impaired Operation charges

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a Kitchener resident with two criminal charges stemming from a traffic complaint.

Members of the Brant County OPP located a vehicle on Brant and Oxford Road, that had been the subject of a traffic complaint at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

As a result of the investigation, Matthew PERUSCO, 46-years-old from Kitchener is charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Brantford on February 21, 2025.
