Brant OPPHuman remains found in aftermath of fire at Brant County home

The Ontario Fire Marshal (OFM) is investigating after human remains were found inside a home that was destroyed by a fire earlier this week.

Emergency crews responded to a structure fire at Highway 2 in Brant County around 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday.

Firefighters arrived on scene and found the building was fully engulfed in flames.

Ontario Provincial Police say the fire was extinguished and the OFM was called in to investigate.
