Hagersville resident charged after single vehicle collision

Brant OPPHagersville resident charged after single vehicle collision

A Hagersville resident is facing charges following a single motor vehicle collision in Brant County.

A member of the Brant Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Newport Road in Brant County at approximately 5:31 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Upon speaking to the driver of the vehicle, the officer administered a roadside Approved Screening Device (ASD) test. The driver was transported to detachment for further testing.

Alexander JAMIESON, 65-years-old of Hagersville, has been charged with the following:

  • Operation While Impaired and,
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on February 8th, 2024.
