Hagersville resident charged after single vehicle collision

CrimeHagersville resident charged after single vehicle collision

Six Nations Police were advised of a single motor vehicle collision on 5th Line at approximately 4:47 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

When officers arrived on scene they located a lone female in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage after colliding with a tree. Police spoke to the female driver who admitted to being intoxicated. Signs of impairment were also observed. The female later refused to provide a sample of her breath when officers attempted to conduct a breath test.  

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Crystal Jacobs  (53-years-old) of Hagersville with the following criminal offences:

– Impaired Operation 

– Failure or Refusal to Comply  

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on February 27, 2025. The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and the accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
