Grand Erie Public Health (GEPH) announced Sarah Page as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the organization on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Page, who will start in her new role on August 11, 2025, brings over 20 years of experience in health and human services to the role, including a strong track record of leadership in public sector transformation.

A former frontline paramedic, she has since held senior roles across emergency medical services, long-term care, housing, social assistance, and public health. Most recently, she served as General Manager of Health and Social Services for Haldimand and Norfolk Counties.

“I am honoured to serve our communities in this role and to lead Grand Erie Public Health through its next chapter. We have an exceptional team whose dedication and passion inspire me every day. I am committed to building on the strong foundation we’ve created together, with transparency, collaboration, and shared purpose at the core of everything we do. Together, we will continue shaping a public health organization that our communities can trust, rely on, and be proud of,” said Sarah Page, Chief Executive Officer, for Grand Erie Public Health.

Since April 2025, Page has served as Interim CEO of GEPH, leading the organization through a critical period of transition. She played a pivotal role in the creation of Grand Erie Public Health, guiding the merger of the former Brant County and Haldimand-Norfolk health units from early planning through to ongoing integration.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sarah Page as the permanent CEO of Grand Erie Public Health. Sarah has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout the merger process and her time as Interim CEO. Her deep knowledge of our communities and unwavering commitment to equity and integrity make her the right leader to guide GEPH into the future,” added Amy Martin, Chair, Board of Health, Grand Erie Public Health.

Page holds a Bachelor of Science and brings a strong foundation of practical knowledge to her leadership role. She has also completed advanced training in leadership, paramedicine, project management, and cultural safety. These skills have supported her success in overseeing complex systems and driving meaningful change in public health.
