County of Brant to celebrate Queen’s Jubilee

County of BrantCounty of Brant to celebrate Queen's Jubilee

The County of Brant will honour the Queen’s Jubilee with an event on Saturday, June 4.

“We officially invite the community to join us in celebrating Her Majesty The Queen who is the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service,” said Sarah Dredge, Community Development Supervisor. “Join us at the park, rain or shine, for a morning of activities.”

The event will take place on June 4, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and consist of:

  • The Town Crier
  • A bag piper
  • Speeches
  • A storywalk hosted by the Brant County Public Library
  • Nature scavenger hunt and
  • Rock painting

A new garden will be created and a bench and plaque will mark the celebration. The County of Brant would like to thank the Mt. Pleasant Optimist Club for partnering with the County to offer this event.
