Members of the Brant County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of shoplifting incident at a retail establishment on Grand River Street North in Paris at approximately 12:26 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Following an investigation, police are looking to speak to a person of interest regarding stolen property.

The person of interest is described as a white female, approximately 50 years old, long dark hair, wearing a black jacket and jeans, holding a black purse.
