City to host Culture Days on the Trails this weekend

City of BrantfordCity to host Culture Days on the Trails this weekend

City of Brantford will be hosting the third annual Culture Days on the Trails event along a section of the SC Johnson Trail from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Trail users are invited to walk along a 2.6 km stretch of the SC Johnson Trail between the Hardy Road parking lot and Lafayette Avenue and attend ten free mini-concerts and performances featuring painters, musicians, and dancers. Altitude Coffee Roasters will be parked near the lower parking lot at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, serving hot and cold beverages. Free parking will be available at the parking lots on Hardy Road and at the lower parking lot at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant. Limited on-street parking is also available on Parkside Drive, between Dufferin Avenue and Preston Boulevard.

“We’re thrilled to present the third annual Culture Days on the Trails,” said Kara Davey, Manager of Tourism, Culture and Sport. “This year’s event will feature ten local artists, musicians and dancers who will activate a section of the SC Johnson Trail, showcasing both the city’s beautiful trail system and the incredible artistic talent in our community.”

  • Juliana Lachance – Musician
  • Open Heart Intuitive Healing Arts – Musician
  • Paromita Kar – Dancer
  • Piano Escape – Musicians
  • Sumedha Mongia – Dancer

Attendees are also invited to visit the Grand River Arts Festival happening on the grounds of the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant on the same day. This free celebration of visual arts, music, theatre and performance art will include a full day of live demonstrations, interactive experiences, a chance to support local makers and much more.
