Adam Henrique, centre for the Edmonton Oilers and Burford’s own, is competing in his second consecutive Stanley Cup Final.
While Henrique is taking to the ice against the Florida Panthers for the second straight postseason, friends and family are showing their support by hosting watch parties throughout the final.

While Edmonton took game one in overtime to take a 1-0 series lead, the Panthers rebounded and returned the favour with a double overtime win of their own on Friday, June 6, 2024 to the series at one game apiece.

Burford residents, as well as Henrique’s family and friends, will have to wait a couple of days for game three of the series, as it’s set to go on Monday, June 9 in Florida.
