Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint involving a possible impaired driver on Bishopsgate Road, within the County of Brant at approximately 7:57 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
As a result of the investigation, one individual was taken into custody.
Police have charged Christopher HOWELL, 41-years-old, of Burford, with the following offences under the Criminal Code:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol
- Dangerous Operation
- Operation While Impaired – BAC 80+
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on August 21, 2025.
