The Burford Agricultural Society is hosting the fall fair on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10.
The fair features a demolition derby, an antique tractor display and a classic car show. The event is different than those in the past Deb Dobson said, a member of the Burford Agricultural Society’s Board of Directors.
“This year’s fair is much shorter than we’re used to but we’re happy to be back at all,” Dobson said. “Instead of Friday to Monday, we are only running two days, Saturday and Sunday, and the hours are much shorter, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.”
The event is following COVID-19 prevention measures set in place by the Brant County Health unit. Safety guidelines include mandatory masks at all times on the fairgrounds, social distancing and a capacity limit of 3000 people. Tickets will be first-come, first-served at the gates each day. Gates open at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
