Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a Break and Enter at a residential address in the town of Oakland at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept 12, 2025.

Police attended the residence and found a male inside the home. The homeowners did not know the male. Following the investigation, officers determined that the male was not authorized to be in the home and had gained entry without the homeowners consent.

As a result, Claude SIMON, 43-years-old, from Woodstock, has been charged with:

Adult Unlawfully in Dwelling.

The accused was released with a court date in October.
