Jennifer Adams of Brantford won $50,000 on an Instant Bingo ticket.

Adams, who works in the automotive industry, said she plays Instant Bingo because she enjoys the excitement of scratching tickets. She also plays LOTTO MAX and always says yes to ENCORE.

“I like to go on OLG’s website to read the winners’ stories sometimes,” Adams said, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto pick up her windfall.

Little did she know, she would one day become a big winner herself.

“As I was playing my ticket, I thought I made a mistake,” said Adams.

When she validated her ticket and the terminal froze, she knew in that moment she won $50,000.

“Everyone around me was excited, but I couldn’t believe it. It was like a dream.”

The 50-year-old mother of two plans to invest her winnings.

“I’m going to let it sit in my bank for a bit,” she concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Maple Convenience on Colborne Street in Brantford.
