Brantford Transit returns to full service

City of BrantfordBrantford Transit returns to full service

The City of Brantford announced that, effective February 27, 2022, Brantford Transit will once again return to half-hour service from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

The health and safety of riders and staff continue to be Brantford Transit’s main priority; therefore, the 33-passenger limit will remain in place to ensure more space for riders.

Brantford Transit works closely with Public Health to ensure proper cleaning protocols are followed. Each vehicle is thoroughly cleaned every night after service using a disinfectant cleaner that is on the approved list for use against COVID-19 by Health Canada. The enhanced cleaning regiment also includes additional disinfecting on frequent touch points with focus on fare collection machines, handrails, and other high touch points. Drivers are also required to clean their workstations when taking over a bus from another driver.
