City of BrantfordBrantford to host outdoor carnival

The City of Brantford will host an outdoor Holiday Carnival at Harmony Square on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

All activities are free and all COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place for outdoor events of this size.

“We are so excited about this year’s outdoor Holiday Carnival in Harmony Square!” said Jennifer Middleton, Coordinator of Special Events for the City of Brantford.  “The City of Brantford, along with our wonderful sponsors look forward to spreading joy this holiday season.”

Activities include free take-home photos with Santa Claus (face coverings are mandatory), meet and greet with The Grinch, Cindy Loo Who, The Snow Queen and Snow Princess. In addition, Harmony Squirrel will be sharing free hot chocolate and carnival treats. Children will also enjoy a free mini Ferris wheel ride, and more!

In partnership with Brantford area Jeep & Off-Road Club, Brantford Jeep owners will be decorating their vehicles for the holidays to be displayed in a stationary parade for all to enjoy! As a result, Dalhousie Street between Market Street and Queen Street will be closed on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Don’t miss the official tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 p.m. as Harmony Squirrel lights the tree to kick off the holiday season.
