Brantford residents charged with vehicle theft

A vehicle was reported stolen to the Brantford Police Service from a location on Easton Road on Friday, February 11.
On Tuesday, February 15, 2021, at approximately 1:20 a.m., a patrol officer with the Brantford Police Service observed the stolen vehicle travelling eastbound on Colborne Street, near Wayne Gretzky Parkway. The vehicle was observed entering a parking lot on Colborne Street, where members of the Brantford Police Service were able to arrest the two occupants – a male driver and female passenger.
As a result of this investigation, a 40-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Brantford, each stand charged with Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000, contrary to the Criminal Code.
