Michael C. of Brantford is celebrating after winning a $100,000 top prize with INSTANT CROSSWORD TRIPLER.

The 63-year-old said he’s been playing the lottery with OLG for about 40 years and especially enjoys playing INSTANT CROSSWORD.

“I thought I had won $100 and was happy with that, but then I noticed I had missed one small word. That’s how I realized I had actually won $100,000,” Michael shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.

The retiree said everything was a blur once he discovered his big win. “I started shaking; I just couldn’t believe it! I told my daughter and my mom the news, and they were also in disbelief,” he said. “It can happen to anyone!”

With his winnings, Michael plans to renovate his mother’s bathroom, purchase some new furniture, and save for retirement.

The winning ticket was purchased at Park’s Variety on North Park Street in Brantford.
