In February of 2021, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Crime Unit commenced a fraud investigation after being called to a business on Ireland Road in Simcoe.

On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, OPP took an individual into custody without incident.

Charged with fraud over $5,000 and use deals, acts on forged documents is 57-year-old Anne GRIFFITHS of Brantford, Ontario.

The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe at a later date.
