On Friday, November 5, 2021, at approximately 6:15 p.m., officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to attend a vacant business located on Colborne Street regarding a break and enter in progress. 
A witness observed the accused kick and break a window at a vacant building on Colborne Street. The accused was then seen entering the building. A short time after entering, the accused was observed leaving the building.
 Officers arrived on scene, located, and arrested the accused. 
Information was received to indicate the accused was in violation of two valid probation orders. 
As a result, Jeremy PORTH, 35 of Brantford (No Fixed Address), stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations: 
  • Break, enter a place with intent to commit indictable offence 
  • Breach of Probation Order
