Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) made a second quarter payment totaling $1,230,813 to the City of Brantford for hosting Elements Casino Brantford.

So far, during OLG’s fiscal year (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026), Brantford has received $2,453,753. Since the gaming site opened in November 1999, Brantford has received $108,609,631.

“Brantford is able to offer local programs and improve the quality of life of their residents through the economic activity generated through revenue from Elements Casino Brantford,” said Stan Cho, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming. “The people of Ontario benefit from OLG’s gaming revenues as 100 per cent of OLG profits are reinvested in the province to support provincial priorities.”

These payments to host communities are based on a formula in the Municipality Contribution Agreement that is consistently applied across all land-based casino sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.

Since 1994, host communities have received almost $2.3 billion in non-tax gaming revenue.
