City of BrantfordBrantford provides update regarding improvements to Emergency Shelter Services

To better serve vulnerable populations in the City of Brantford and County of Brant, the City of Brantford’s Emergency Shelter System will be undergoing a transition.

During this transition, access to shelter services are not affected and if you or someone you know is unhoused and/or are in need of immediate shelter, please seek assistance using the information provided below.

Until January 31, 2024, the Salvation Army Housing Resource Centre will continue to provide intake to emergency shelter services during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Support can be accessed either by phone at 226-227-7692 or in person at 255 Colborne Street.

Outside of regular business hours, intake to emergency shelter assistance will be provided by St. Leonard’s Community Services any time after 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and on weekends by calling 1-888-621-0034.
