Brantford Police charge man with Impaired Driving

Officers with the Brantford Police Service received a call to advise of a possible impaired driver travelling eastbound on Colborne Street East at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, January 22.
Officers attended the area, located the vehicle travelling northbound on Wayne Gretzky Parkway and conducted a traffic stop. 
In speaking with the male driver, officers observed signs of impairment and administered an Approved Roadside Screening Device, which registered a fail. 
The accused was then transported to provide samples of his breath as required by law. However, the accused refused to provide samples.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old Brantford man stands charged with Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand contrary to the Criminal Code.
