On Sunday, November 14, 2021, at approximately 11:20 a.m., officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to attend a call regarding a break and enter in progress at a residence located on West Street.
The residence was currently undergoing renovations and was vacant at the time of the incident. 
The property owner contacted police to advise they had live surveillance video of the accused gaining entry to the residence and disabling the security camera. 
Police arrived on scene and located the suspect within the residence. The suspect was placed under arrest.
A search incident to arrest revealed the accused was in possession of the missing security camera.
As a result, John ROBINSON, a 31-year-old male from Brantford, stands charged with Break, Enter and Commit contrary to the Criminal Code.
