Brantford man wins nearly $125,000 betting on sports

Adam Conti of Brantford won $124,594.50 playing POOLS, a sports betting program offered by the OLG.

Conti a 38-year-old father of two, said he’s had smaller wins in the past, but this is his first major win.

“I play POOLS weekly,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his prize.

Conti said he knew he won right away after watching the last game.

“I was overcome with this surreal feeling. I am truly thankful for this windfall,” he said. “My wife was very happy for me as well.”

He plans to take his family on a vacation to relax.
