Brantford man facing charges after motor vehicle collision

Brant OPPBrantford man facing charges after motor vehicle collision

A driver is facing Impaired charges after police were called to a single motor vehicle collision.

Brant County OPP were called to Bethel Road, east of Bishopsgate Road, to investigate a single motor vehicle collision at approximately 7:06 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Police charged 47-year-old, Scott KERSEY of Brantford with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice on February 5, 2026, in Brantford.
