Brantford man charged with Assault

A 59-year-old Brantford man has been charged with Assault, Mischief and Uttering Threats after an incident on Monday, January 17.
At approximately 5:00 p.m. a man was blowing snow from his property, over the fence, onto his neighbour’s property, hitting the windows of the home. Concerned for damage to his property, an elderly male neighbour exited his home in an attempt to stop the accused.
The accused became confrontational with the 82-year-old male victim, entering onto his property, kicking and swinging fists at the man. A verbal confrontation occurred, with the accused utilizing a snow blower to blow snow onto the victim. The accused then threatened harm against the victim. 
 As a result of the incident, a 59-year-old man of Brantford, stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations:
  • Assault 
  • Mischief under $5000 
  • Utter threats
