David Proceviat of Brantford won a MAXMILLIONS prize worth $1 million in the Lotto Max draw on October 14, 2022.

Proceviat, 52-years-old, says he plays the lottery once a week.

“It’s a normal routine for me,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “When I checked the ticket, my smile lit up the room!”

Proceviat says his win hasn’t really set in yet.

“It’s an indescribable feeling. I will put it toward my retirement,” he said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer on Colborne Street in Brantford.
