Brantford Immigration Partnership (BIP) will be hosting a Newcomer Welcome Day for Canadians living in Brantford and members of the public on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
This family-friendly event, which will take place at the Lion’s Park Steve Brown Sports Complex from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., is an opportunity to learn about local resources available in the community, while enjoying free food, refreshments, games and entertainment.
“We are thrilled to once again host our Newcomer Welcome Day,” said Magdalena Bentia, Brantford Immigration Partnership Coordinator for the City of Brantford. “This event is a celebration of the diverse cultures that enrich our city and a chance for newcomers to feel welcomed, included and connected to the community.”
“Supporting new Canadians and their families is key priority of our Inclusive City Strategy,” added Kevin Davis, Mayor for the City of Brantford. “On behalf of City Council, we’re proud to see so many organizations come together through the Brantford Immigration Partnership to help strengthen community bonds and showcase our city as welcoming place to call home.”
