The City of Brantford Community Grants Program is now accepting applications from non-profit organizations.
The grant program has been an integral part of Brantford since 2001 and has helped to shape the vitality and sense of belonging that is enjoyed in our community.
The City is committed to working with local nonprofit organizations to facilitate opportunities to enhance community wellbeing through support of arts, culture, heritage, recreation, the environment, and health and human services.
New this year, there will be one intake of Grant Applications for the year 2022, and all applications will be considered following the application deadline.
The Brant Community Foundation will accept applications on behalf of the City of Brantford for the following funding streams:
- Operational (Grant Maximum $10,000): To assist with funding to improve the well-being of the community and its residents by providing financial assistance to various non-profit community organizations.
- Operational – Special Events
- Capital / Seed (Grant Maximum $15,000): To promote the self-sufficiency of community non-profit groups and programs by encouraging those in receipt of City Grants to become self-supporting
- City Services Special Events (Grant Maximum $1,500): To assist with funding to improve the well-being of the community and its residents by providing financial assistance to various non-profit community organizations that host events using City Services
- Operational – Travel (Amounts Vary – Please consult application guidelines)
