Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in the County of Brant.
Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of an incident involving two individuals that had occurred at a residence in the municipality at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following charges:
- Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm-Spousal, two counts
- Uttering Threats – Damage or Injure Animal
- Mischief – destroys or damages property
The accused was released with a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, on December 11, 2026.
