Brant OPP investigating thefts from Paris LCBO
Brant County OPP is asking for the public’s assistance following multiple thefts reported at the LCBO on Mechanic Street in Paris.
The incidents occurred from September 2025 through February 2026 at various times of the day.


Investigators are seeking to identify a male suspect believed to be in his early 20s to early 30s. The suspect was seen wearing a maroon long-sleeve shirt with white printed text, including the partially visible words “CALIFORNIA” and “ANGELS EST. 19-“. He also wore a blue padded vest over the shirt. The suspect is described as having light brown, curly or wavy hair and a short beard or unshaven.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are appealing to anyone who may recognize the individual or who may have information related to the thefts.
Brant resident facing one count of Spousal Assault
Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Brant County OPP began an investigation regarding a report of a historical intimate partner violence occurrence at a residence in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Assault – Spousal.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
