A Hagersville resident is facing charges following a traffic stop in the County of Brant.

a member of the Brant Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Cockshutt Road at approximately 1:51 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Upon speaking to the driver of the vehicle, the officer administered a roadside Approved Screening Device (ASD) test. The driver was transported to detachment for further testing.

Hannah THOMAS, 24-years-old of Hagersville, has been charged with the following:

  • Operation While Impaired and,
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on November 10, 2023.
