Brant OPPBrant OPP charge Markham resident with Impaired Driving

A Markham resident is facing charges following a traffic stop in Brantford, Ontario.

Members of the Brant Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a possible impaired driver on Rest Acres Road in Paris, Brant County at approximately 12:59 a.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Upon speaking to the driver of the vehicle it was determined that the driver had consumed several alcoholic beverages prior to driving their vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further testing.

Sean GAULT, 57-years-old of Markham, has been charged with the following:

  • Operation While Impaired and,
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
  • Driving Motor Vehicle

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on March 7, 2024.
