A single vehicle collision investigation has led to an impaired driving charge for one person from Branchton, Ontario.

On Thursday September 22, 2022, at approximately 8:10 a.m., officers with the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision reported on Howell Road in the County of Brant.

It was determined a vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole. One person was arrested and transported to Norfolk County detachment for testing.

Police have charged Jason Sean KURG, 53-years-of-age from Branchton with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol or drugs and
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
