Brant OPPBrant OPP and BPS close local roads after gas leak

Members from Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Brantford Police Service closed Governors Road East between St. George Road and Park Road and Park Road North from Powerline Road to Governors Road for a reported gas leak Wednesday afternoon.

Police responded to a reported gas leak near the intersection of Governors Road East and Park Road North at approximately 12:24 p.m. on Wednesday August 9, 2023.

The roads in the area were closed for approximately one hour while emergency crews attended and repaired the gas leak.

There were no injuries and no damage to property reported as a result of the gas leak.
