One person is facing impaired driving charges after Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members investigated a call of a suspected impaired driver Sunday morning.

Officers with the Brant County OPP responded to a complaint of a suspected impaired driver in Glen Morris in the County of Brant at approximately 11:07 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

The vehicle was located and the driver was arrested and transported to Brantford Police Service for testing.

Police have charged 39-year-old Megan MURPHY, from Brant County with the following offence:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
