Brant County resident facing multiple charges

Brant OPPBrant County resident facing multiple charges

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.

Officers responded to a report of an incident involving two individuals that had occurred at a residence in the County of Brant at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following charges:

·        Assault – Spousal

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

The accused was released on an adult undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, on October 22, 2026.
