Brant OPPBrant County resident charged with Impaired Driving

A 38-year-old from Brant County was arrested after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Brant County Detachment members responded to a traffic complaint Saturday evening in the County of Brant.

On Saturday August 5, 2023, at approximately 11:07 p.m., Brant County OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 24 South.

The caller observed driving behaviour that caused them to be concerned and contacted police. Police located the vehicle where one person was arrested and transported to Brant County OPP detachment for testing.

Police have charged 38-year-old Stephane Lionel QUENVILLE, from the County of Brant with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
