The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a fail to remain collision involving a pedestrian on Baptist Church Road in the County of Brant.

Brant County OPP members responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian at approximately 5:58 a.m. on Sunday October 27, 2024.

The investigation determined that an individual was on Baptist Church Road near McBay Road on October 27, 2024 between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., when they were struck by a small white passenger vehicle.

The vehicle involved is believed to be a newer model Mazda and will possibly have passenger side damage. It was last observed travelling westbound on Baptist Church Road. The individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at an area hospital.
